GREENVILLE – State Representative Dan Flynn (R-Van) endorsed Senator Bob Deuell, MD, today for reelection to Senate District 2.

“Dr. Bob Deuell cares,” said Flynn, who has served Texas House District 2 (HD 2) and has been Deuell’s own representative since 2003. “You see it in his medical practice and you certainly see it in his role as a State Senator from Greenville.

“Senator Deuell and his wife Marilyn have been my dear friends for many years, and the leadership and value his seniority in the Senate brings to our part of the state is unquestioned," continued Flynn.  "Bob's record of supporting the goals and needs of Senate District 2, his strong support of Texans’ desire for traditional family values and protection of life makes my endorsement of him easy and heartfelt.”

Greenville and Hunt County have been a part of House District 2 since Flynn was first elected, and they remained so as part of 2011 Redistricting.  Hunt County also remains a part of HD 2 in the interim maps recently issued by federal court.
